We are back for the chase! The players have made their way out to the middle. Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq are at the crease.
Right then! Pakistan require 314 runs from 50 overs to go 1-0 up in the ODI series. The pitch is a good one to bat on and Pakistan would be confident going into the chase. The Aussies have a couple of leggies in their bowling attack and they would be key for Australia. Who will come out on top? Stay tuned to find that out as the chase begins shortly.
The debutant, Zahid Mahmood (10-0-59-2) comes up for a quick chat. The leggie says that he had planned for Alex Carey and wanted to bowl a googly from the leg stump line. Shares that there is some help for the spinners. Tells that they didn't bowl well at the start but recovered well towards the end. Mentions that the advice from Babar was to dry up the runs. States that they have good batters and hopes to chase down the target.
FOUR! Green ends the innings well! Short in length, around middle, Cameron Green sits on the back foot and pulls it powerfully through square leg. The field had come up in that direction and the ball speeds away to the fence. 15 from the over, Australia finish on 313/7!
